μ-toni MIDI is the generative arpeggiator from μ-toni, as a MIDI effect. Hold keys and it plays the notes of your scale or chord as MIDI, in time with your DAW. Send them to any synth you like. It makes no sound of its own.

Hold one or more keys, and μ-toni MIDI plays notes from your chosen scale or chord, over and over, on the beat of your DAW. Every setting is the same as in the μ-toni arpeggiator, the Appergater. The picture shows the Appergater in μ-toni.
Pick a scale and a root note, and the arpeggio stays in key. Turn on diatonic snap to pull any note onto the scale.
ScaleChoose a chord and its inversion, and spread it over as many octaves as you like.
ChordUp, down, up-down and everything in between, so the line can climb, fall or bounce.
DirectionRates from 1/4 down to 1/32, including dotted and triplet. Set how long each note lasts, and join notes together with legato.
TimingSwitch single steps on or off and mark some as accents, so the line has a groove. Run it as a loop, or start it from a MIDI trigger.
PatternListen to one channel or all of them (Omni, or 1 to 16). Send on the channel you choose, with the note velocity you set.
MIDIWindows 10 or 11, 64-bit. macOS is on hold.
VST3 and CLAP MIDI-effect plug-ins. It has no audio and no standalone app.
A DAW that can host a VST3 or CLAP MIDI effect, and a synth to play with its notes.
μ-toni MIDI is freeware. There will be nothing to buy, no key and no support prompt. It is not released yet. The download will appear here and on the download page with the next release.
